Our Camaro in 1979   Our Camaro in 2000

We are a family located in Tennessee about 20 miles from the Bristol Raceway and Thunder Valley drag strip.  Here are some pictures of the 1978 Type LT that we have driven since 1979.  The first photo is from 1979 and the second one is from 2000.  The house had to be painted to match.  We have a little over 100,000 miles on it and it still runs great.  Our Camaro isn’t the rarest the fanciest or the fastest, but we have had fun driving it all these years.  It's part of our family.  While we're not experts on anything automotive, we do enjoy driving through the country once in a while.  Check out our Road Trips page for some fun driving destinations.  Visit our local region at CarterCounty.info.

We were searching for some information about our car one day, and spent a while looking for it.  We did run across an incredible amount of excellent sites devoted to our favorite car.  So the idea for this site was formed.  Our time was used to find  the best Internet resources about Camaros and arranging them here.  We hope this will save time for many other Camaro enthusiasts.  Visit our addlinks page to submit your favorite Camaro sites.
